Totally makes sense here! I finally figured how, where and why myths were born. It's so easy to get inspired here... Lovely Kerry!
It's like made for bicycles, damn it... :D Lot's of fun to drive here!
These are the highest cliffs in the Ring of Kerry. Usually you can see the Skellig islands but weather is awful today. The wind here is literally blowing me away! Hurricane! I've never experienced such strong wind! Never!
I was about to say that renting a car for Kerry is the singlest best idea I've ever had but it doesn't fit the drink. I'm staying here for a while... :)
;)
Sunshine and we're back in the game! :D
Well...this place calmed me down... Stuning, nothing less...
Well, thank the rain for not actually seeing it. Can't express my frustration, anger and disappointment. It's all because of this jerk in the rent a car company that couldn't tell me that i have to wait till 11. I was there at 8 and the light and weather were magical. I'm going out to shout..
The best part of the trip is fucked up by the weather. Simply can't believe I travelled so much to get rain and clouds here...
Kerry already looks exciting! Autumn colors, warm, hills. Going to Dingle, for sure!
Now, this there in the fog would be co. Kerry! Thrilled to see it finally!

I turned my back to Galway for the last time and went to the county with the most beautiful name ever - Clare. If only it wasn't raining...
Almost back on mainland.. There is no ferry to Doolin so I'm heading back to Galway for a pint... :-D
What a beautiful day here! It's like mid August, not October. Nice tan on my face :D
Our company wishes you a pleasant day and thanks for travelling with us :D
I just realized I haven't posted anything from town. It was a great day together and didn't have time :D
Raining now, as always...
Emilie will know... :)
I got back from the walk. The beach is full of surfers and sea-kayakers! Huge surprise! I hope they'll be in the pub tonight :)
137 stone houses here and nobody knows why people left. To be honest everything here looks deserted. These are just older. There are about 10 people around, including me. And I already know them :)
Nema red...nema red v taq durjava :D
Yesterday was so dark that even I was curious where I am sleeping :) Awful night though, very windy and rainy. I must be in the middle of a hurricane damn it..
I made it to the lovely town of Westport after some great rides! A surfer from Wales took me on his VW camper and we went to look for waves... he wasn't excited about the conditions so we had to split near Ballina. Then some methodist priests took me with their car to Westport. :) It's a very pleasant place but i'll go to Achill island this evening. This is Molloy's pub, the one owned by Matt from the Chieftains! Good music everyday.,
Couple of people drove me to Sligo, co. Sligo. It's saturday and this town is very famous for the music and I decided to go for the craic. Heading to the pub already as this town is very very famous for the girls as well :)
I have to climb this now. On the other side is 400 m high cliffs straight in to the sea. We'll see...
A view from the terrace :)
It's surrounded by sand beaches and there are many small islands near by with one or two houses on them. These people must be loving their privacy :) I love the sky right now-clouds are so low.
No posts today as i wasn't able to charge the battery yesterday. And it wasn't really an exciting day. Just after 10 km cycling my tyre went flat so i had to push the bike for 15 more km to Dunloe where I was planning to hop on a bus. There was no such a thing there so i had to abandon the bike. Yap, I'm officialy a hitch-hiker now! And i love it! I was able to reach Carrick through Killybegs with two rides. Second one was great - a local fisherman drove me through so scenic roads and showed me where he fishes and stuff... and it's a beautiful place again, you'll see tomorrow :) My hostel is right under Slieve League, the highest sea cliffs in Europe. But now it's pub time as it's Friday and there is music everywhere :)
As I'm on an island my plan to stay away from the sea quickly collapsed. Weather was bad in the mountains so I cycled to Bunbeg. And what a strange and beautiful place this is! Another cool place to spend the night.
:) It was a serious climb through the mountain but it's worthy.
I was asked what's the purpose of this trip. Well, I'm just training for the ski season :) As simple as that! Freeriding is not a crime!!!
Enough is enough. No more sea for a while. Let's go camp in Glenveagh National Park!
And I was thinking that fairytales are all fantasies...
I'm on the road again. No time to write-there are many km ahead!
